Description
An IMAGESFX Asset Deployment Technician assigned by the Asset Deployment and Maintenance Manager (ADM Manager) to prep, de-prep and maintain IMAGESFX special effects equipment, support specific projects and standard operating procedures for the planning and deployment of IMAGESFX projects from the Baltimore facility. They assist the ADM Manager by maintaining company assets for show deployment.
Full Time, Hourly
M-F, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Primary Responsibilities
EQUIPMENT PREPARATION AND DEPREPARATION
· Prepare and manage special effects/lasers and support gear for show use under moderate supervision by:
o Following detailed verbal and written instructions for packing and unpacking each show given by the ADM Manager
o Inspecting, verifying, and counting equipment for accuracy and overall condition prior to shipping gear
o Scanning all equipment through our inventory management system
o Packing gear in storage containers for shipment according to Gear List prepared by the ADM Manager
o Receiving, inspecting and storing equipment coming back from shows
o Performing basic inventory maintenance when necessary
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE
· Assist Equipment Specialist in keeping IMAGESFX assets in show-ready condition
o Performing routine maintenance, painting and minor repairs on equipment
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Complete local equipment pickups and drop-offs as needed
· Prepare packages for 3rd party shipment (ex: FedEx, UPS)
· Receive shipments from 3rd party shippers (ex: FedEx, UPS)
Secondary Responsibilities
· Follow company procedures and directives
· Maintain a clean working space
· Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Requirements
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal to moderate supervision
· Demonstrated aptitude to learn how to repair special effects and/or related equipment
· Forklift certification preferred; Willing to be certified on and operate forklifts regularly
· Comfortable utilizing ladders up to 12’
· Able to frequently walk, bend, squat, balance, lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
· Able to pass background check and drug test
· 18 years of age or older
· Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
· High School Diploma or GED required
· At least one-year job experience preferred
· DOT Medical Card and DOT Driving Experience is bonus
